Jointly organized by HKEPMSA and MEIIA, supported by EPA Centre, a "Workshop of Advanced ERP System" was held on Dec 11, 2006 at City University of Hong Kong. The workshop covered several advance topics in ERP system to further enhance productivity and with value added to the enterprise in the product development and manufacturing sectors.

The workshop was started at 3:40 pm, Mr. Spencer Tao, Vice-Chairman of MEIIA delivered an opening remarks and introduction of three speakers. President of HKEPMSA Mr. Simon Wong presented souvenirs to three speakers.

The following three talks were presented:

    1)   Experience sharing on how to practicably prepare for RoHS compliance and to integrate with world class ERP applications    economically.

     - Speaker:  Mr. Tim Chan, Director of Lucky Products Factory Ltd.

2)  How to effectively implement Product Lifecycle Management Application in your organization
         -  Speaker - Mr. Hilton Lok, Vice President of Unlimited Solutions Limited.

    3) How to get the Business Process Management inline with ERP implementation and to make the use of ERP implementation
        in defining the future business strategy 
        - Speaker: Mr. Benny Lam, Director of Action Consulting International Limited

During Q & A session, speakers answered questions from participants about RoHS implementation, ERP implementation as well as PLM applications.

The workshop ended by 6:30 pm, participants further exchanged information during the networking session.
